Andrew

My name is Andrew Bieber, and I was born July 20th 1996 into a meth induced chaos to a no-name dad and a mother consumed with manufacturing methamphetamines. I started life surrounded by drug activity and abuse of every kind, ranging from emotional to sexual. By 7, DFS had the door to my mother’s house kicked in, and my siblings and I were taken into foster care. I was eventually separated from them and bounced to a few different families before getting adopted at 9. An angry kid was too much to handle for most people, but I was blessed with a loving Mom and Dad that did everything they possibly could, but the seeds of destruction had already been planted.

Labeled ADHD and given meds like Ritalin(pharmaceutical methamphetamine) and Risperdal, I very quickly became an outcast and fell into pornogrophy and the occult. By 12 years old, I began reading demonic rituals and became demonized. By 18, I had been in and out of therapy and DYS, mental institutions, and jail for a felony and was now hooked on the needle shooting meth.
At 21 I was serving 2 years on a 4 year bit when I overdosed on K-2 (synthetic marijuana) and ended up in solitary confinement waiting to find out if I was getting a set back or not. It was then I realized that I had 3 children with 3 different women, all of whom I abandoned while they were pregnant. I didn’t want the responsibility that came with having children, plus I wasn’t ready to stop getting high. I had burned every bridge I’d ever built and had literally no one left in my life.
Thankfully, for a lot of us, that’s when Jesus makes Himself the most known to us. And in that cell, through His Word, He revealed Himself to me and changed me. From that point, on I was different. A new creation,. I couldn’t say the same things, I couldn’t think about the same things, and I couldn’t imagine going back to my old way of life. But I needed structure and a support system.
In need of a place to go after prison, I ended up reading Pastor John Alarid’s book, “My Prison Became a Palace,” and I filled out an application for Hope Homes of the Ozarks Adult and Teen Challenge. David Manning gave me a call and told me about the vision of an army rising up out of the prisons to preach the unadulterated gospel of Jesus Christ, and I felt I was called to be a part of that army. On August 19, 2019, I was released from prison and went to Hope Homes.
During my 12 months at the program, I began to earnestly study the Word and was baptized in the Holy Spirit. In the environment I was able to have true revelations of who Christ is and who I am in Christ. I rose up as a leader and became an intern for my last 3 months, helping run our moving company and the program.
After I graduated, Pastor John married me and my beautiful wife, Brianna, on August 3, 2020.
We now help out as youth leaders, I have a full time job, and we moved into our new home with our two kids and faithfully attend and serve at Freedom City Church. I’m now enrolled in the Berean Leadership College through Freedom City Church and on my way to being a licensed minister through the Assemblies of God. I was recently put on the preaching team at our church!
I was once lost with no purpose and I stand today as a Soldier of the Most High. I have restoration in my family and in my mind and in my soul. Freedom City Church has become my family, and I’m still a work in progress, but each and every day I draw closer to my Lord, until the day He returns.
Stand firm my brothers and sisters. Keep the faith and fight the good fight.
