Process When Declined
If the local (or nearest) ATC corporation declines to move forward with the proposal and the proposal meets initial consideration requirements, the ATC Regional Representative and the Director of Field Operations for the National Office will ask the local (or nearest) corporation for their growth strategy over the next three years. If there is no growth strategy, then the ATCUSA Board of Directors and the National Office reserve the right to reach out to the next ATC corporation nearest to the market to consider moving forward with a new center. The ATC corporation declining the proposal will be notified of the decision to move forward with a different ATC corporation. It is highly encouraged that all local ATC corporations support growth, whether it is within the organization or from another ATC corporation. It is also encouraged that all relationships be considerate and mutually agreeable.
