U.S. overdose deaths reach all-time high, officials report

On November 17, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention shared data estimating over 100,000 people died from overdoses from April 2020 to April 2021. Up from over 93,000 last year, this is the first time overdose deaths have reached six figures. You can read the data at the link below.
