We are thrilled to welcome Gary Blackard as our new President and CEO
Gary’s extensive leadership experience at a national level is a sign of God’s preparation for his new role as president of Adult & Teen Challenge USA. He was a vice president at Xerox corporation where he led global teams as large as 700 employees. Most recently, he served as the vice president, strategy & innovation and chief information officer for Evangel University in Springfield, Missouri.
He has leadership experience in multiple industries including healthcare, education and finance. His clients have included Kaiser Permanente, University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, Phoenix Behavioral Health, IBM, Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, and Verizon.
His association with Adult & Teen Challenge began many years ago while serving on church-based worship teams. He joined the National Board of Directors in 2014, becoming the Chairman in 2017. His personal, spiritual, and professional life have equipped him with the rich and diverse experiences needed at the helm of Adult & Teen Challenge USA.
