Position Summary
We are seeking a Kitchen Coordinator to lead and manage all aspects of our kitchen operations. This full-time position is vital to supporting the day-to-day nourishment of our residents, staff, and special ministry events. You’ll oversee meal planning, inventory, health code compliance, vendor relationships, and student kitchen crews. The ideal candidate combines culinary expertise with leadership skills and a heart for ministry.
Key Responsibilities

Lead all kitchen operations ensuring timely and nutritious meals for residents and staff.

Maintain strict adherence to health code standards (state and food bank).

Develop weekly menus based on inventory and event schedules.

Supervise and mentor student kitchen crews.

Build and manage relationships with food donors and vendors.

Track inventory, manage food donations, and ensure proper food rotation.

Coordinate food preparation and service for fundraising and ministry events.

Maintain budget, track expenses, and report to the central office.

Assist with administrative and student ministry-related responsibilities.
Qualifications

Associate degree or relevant experience (6+ months preferred).

ServSafe Certification (required) + First Aid/CPR Certification.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and inventory systems.

Strong organizational, time-management, and leadership skills.

Experience in food service, ministry, or nonprofit environments a plus.

Must pass a background check per national accreditation standards.

Flexibility to work evenings/weekends and support non-kitchen tasks as needed.
