Director of Development /Assistant to the Executive Director
Key Tasks and Responsibilities: 1. Learn and efficiently manage any current marketing/fundraising programs. 2. Promote The Refuge Teen Challenge in both currently supporting churches/individuals and potential supporting churches and individuals. 3. Schedule and coordinate all church events and services. 4. Work with the Executive Director to plan and execute profitable major events; track and engage local donors; create ad implement effective local branding and marketing strategies. Coordinate and facilitate formal fundraising appeals and Friends of the ministry Luncheons.
Qualifications: A person who maintains the highest moral and ethical standards while exhibiting a teachable spirit. A person who has maturity, and able to demonstrate servant leadership as a positive, energetic role model. A team player who will follow the leadership’s direction and help establish good working relationships with in the staff. To help broaden and increase donor/sponsor relationships while strengthening existing donor/sponsor relationships. A person who will continue to learn new ways of effectively pursuing the betterment of The Refuge Girls Academy ministry to at risk girls and their families.
Requirements: Must be 18 yrs or older Must have a valid driver’s license Must be able to work a forty hour week Be a current member of a local church.
Preferences: Have experience with Marketing Previous experience working with at risk youth and their families. Adult & Teen Challenge Graduate Willing to pursue further education in the Adult & Teen Challenge Curriculum Email or Mail your resume or CV to apply.
