Direct Care - Women with Children

Purpose
To promote health and restoration for the students at HOH, by implementing Biblical principles in all aspects of direct care. To teach and train HOH students how to properly manage a range of life’s situations, by modeling godliness in word, conduct and work ethic. To help directly meet the every day needs of all residents in the home.
Responsibilities
- Promote spiritual growth throughout all student activities and interactions
- Oversee student schedule and all daily activities
- Provide mentoring and discipleship, as needed
- Ensure safety of students
- Overnight on call rotation
- Oversee student medication
- Oversee and monitor incoming and outgoing mail from students
- Supervise student phone calls
- Transport students to appointments, off campus vocational training and other activities
- Oversight of the home, which includes single women, mothers and children
- Communicate maintenance needs
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- Must be 21 years of age
- Must be willing to work some night and weekend shifts
- Good communication and conflict management skills
- Spiritually mature, sound judgement, and the ability to work with people from different backgrounds
- If ATC graduate, must have graduated no less than 6 months prior to employment
- Must have a valid driver’s license
