Primary Purpose:
To provide Christ-centred leadership and oversight for the Clinical Services Program, ensuring that services align with the mission and values of Adult & Teen Challenge of Central Canada. This role promotes spiritual transformation and holistic recovery by developing and maintaining compliant, effective, faith-based treatment programming. The Clinical Services Director is responsible for supervising staff, ensuring regulatory compliance, expanding services, and fostering collaboration across departments, while keeping a strong focus on ministry effectiveness, professional excellence, and financial sustainability.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead Program Oversight and Development

- Provide strategic leadership and vision for the Clinical Services Program across all outpatient sites within the Adult & Teen Challenge of Central Canada region.
- Oversee the expansion, development, and daily operation of clinical services in alignment with ministry goals and provincial regulations.
- Regularly audit locations to ensure excellence in the delivery of Christ-centred care.
- Collaborate with the CAO to assess and evaluate operational and ministry performance across clinical services ventures.

- Ensure Compliance and Program Integrity

- Supervise treatment programming to ensure all services meet the requirements of each client’s individualized treatment plan.
- Guarantee the timely completion of documentation, assessments, and reporting as regulatory bodies require.

- Supervise and Equip Life Renewal Staff

- Provide supervision, coaching, and ongoing professional development for counsellors and therapists.
- Conduct annual performance evaluations and facilitate disciplinary processes as needed.
- Develop and implement training programs to ensure clinical excellence and mission alignment.
- Oversee staffing levels and recruitment to maintain an effective, qualified team.

- Foster Collaboration and Multidisciplinary Integration

- Partner with the Marketing Director to market and promote Clinical Services.
- Represent ATCCC in corporate and community events, fundraising activities, and committee meetings.
- Network with local ministry leaders, community partners, and medical professionals to strengthen referral pathways and holistic client support.
- Monitor Program Effectiveness and Reporting
- Assemble data and prepare quarterly reports for the Officer Team.
- Conduct special studies to evaluate the feasibility of new treatment initiatives or locations and report findings to the Officer Team.
- Use data-driven insights to continuously improve program quality and ministry outcomes.

- Manage Financial Planning and Billing

- Collaborate with the Officer Team on annual budget development and financial strategy.
- Oversee billing to ensure accurate, timely processing of insurance documentation and reporting requirements.
- Ensure the financial sustainability of Clinical Services through careful stewardship, resource development, and donor support.
Collaboration
This leadership role requires strong collaboration with leadership, Campus Managers, clinical teams, and external partners to ensure consistent, mission-driven service delivery. Active participation in community and ministry networks is key to maintaining ATCCC’s reputation as a faith-based, professional treatment provider.
Decision Making
The Clinical Services Director exercises independent decision-making in clinical supervision, program development, personnel management, and financial planning. Decisions should reflect both compliance requirements and the Christ-centred mission of Adult & Teen Challenge.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Addiction Counselling, Clinical Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
- Clinical license or certification required in relevant field (e.g., PACCP, CACCF).
- 3–5 years of leadership experience in addiction recovery, mental health, or ministry settings.
- Proven understanding of regulatory requirements for outpatient substance use treatment.
- Experience supervising multidisciplinary teams and delivering training.
- Strong organizational, administrative, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to integrate biblical principles into leadership, counselling, and recovery.
