How the Program Works

A Jesus-centered approach to lasting recovery.

Our program is built on the hope and truth of the Gospel. We combine spiritual discipleship with practical support and a structured, long-term residential environment to help people address the real issues behind addiction and build a strong foundation for the future.

Christ-centered discipleship

Discover a relationship with Jesus and learn to live a new way of life.

Long-term residential care

Step away from destructive patterns and focus on lasting change through a 12–18 month residential program.

Structured community

Live in a supportive Christian community with accountability and encouragement, so no one walks through recovery alone.

Practical
support

Gain life skills, work experience, and tools for real-world success.

Addressing the root causes

Confront the deeper issues that fuel addiction and other life-controlling problems, with practical tools to heal at the root.

Addressing Addiction at the Roots

Addiction is often about more than the substance.

Substance abuse is often a symptom of deeper life-controlling issues such as trauma, broken relationships, unhealthy patterns, and spiritual emptiness. Our program addresses the root causes, not just the outward behavior, in order to bring hope and healing to the whole person.

Why long-term matters

Real change takes time.

Lasting transformation rarely happens overnight. Most Adult & Teen Challenge residential programs average 12–18 months, giving people time to step away from destructive environments, address root causes, and grow within a supportive Christian community.
