Who We Are

For over six decades, Adult & Teen Challenge has been a place of hope and transformation for individuals and families struggling with life-controlling issues. Founded in 1958 by David Wilkerson, our mission is rooted in the belief that true freedom comes through the power of Jesus Christ.

With over 200 centers across the country, we serve men, women, adolescents, and even women with children. Our Christ-centered programs focus on transformation—not just treatment—helping individuals break free from addiction and rebuild their lives.

Why We Do What We Do

The need is great—48.7 million people in the U.S. struggle with addiction. At Adult & Teen Challenge, we are committed to putting hope within reach for every person who needs it. Each year, we reach 1.1 million people and provide life-changing care to 25,000 individuals through residential, non-residential, and online programs.
