Program Staff Women's Center
Sheepgate (Teen Challenge of the Midlands, Inc) provides services to our students free of charge. As such our staff members are missionaries—not in the sense that they raise their own support – but in the sense that wages are less than those offered by other businesses. In addition, we ask our staff (interns) to commit at least a year (preferably two) to dedicate to pouring into the women of Sheepgate. It is an opportunity for those completing an Adult & Teen Challenge program to give back to the Lord.
Our program staff are responsible for coaching students through their day to day schedule. Each day brings an opportunity to disciple, mentor and assist students with class work. Our staff members partner together in order to minister to the needs of our students. They also need to be able to hold students accountable for their actions and choices.
Sheepgate provides room and board, a salary, paid time off, and paid health insurance. There are also opportunities for growth within our organization.
