THRIVE Office Coordinator Job Description

Summary:

The Office Coordinator is a department head responsible for the fiscal management of the THRIVE campus and must manage the activities of the Administrative Office.

 

Qualifications

  • S/he shall be a person of spiritual maturity, amiable to the Assemblies of God doctrine, and in full agreement with the ATCOT mission statement
  • Complete the Effective Biblical Counseling course or an equivalent course
  • Must be familiar with running reports Online and be proficient with Microsoft Office applications
  • Ideally credentialed as a minister or pursuing credentials in the AG or doctrinally similar fellowship
  • Three years experience of administration of an office

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate degree
  • At least 1 year Teen Challenge ministry experience
  • Texas Notary

 

Relationships

  • The Office Coordinator is responsible to the campus Director

Responsibilities:

He/She will primarily serve as a minister to students in the THRIVE program.

His/her responsibilities include but not be limited to:

  • Conduct Bible studies
  • Lead prayer
  • Disciple students
  • Conduct evangelistic outreach
  • Engage in religious instruction
  • Work with other departments to comply with all Texas DFPS regulations AND Cognia Accreditations
  • Maintain cleanliness, security, and proper functioning of administrative office building
  • Maintain office copier, servers, telephones, computers, and other equipment in office
  • Prepare cash deposits, complete deposit log and bank receipts, and submit copy of deposit log and receipts to Corporate Business Manager
  • Run financial reports as needed by campus departments and the Director
  • Manage and secure petty cash, collect receipts, and submit petty cash requests
  • Responsible for making sure campus telephone is answered during business hours
  • Work with other department heads to maintain campus Accreditation with TCUSA and Cognia
  • Prepares reports required by Speed the Light, Light for the Lost, and BGMC
  • Maintain records for all designated giving and spending
  • Maintain campus mailing list
  • Keeps a copy of all campus vehicle keys, titles, and insurance information
  • Purchase office supplies and maintain supply closet
  • Maintain confidentiality of student and ministry information heard and seen in the offices
  • Assist Director or Campus Manager with all correspondence and meeting preparation as needed
  • Participate in campus events and chapels as required
  • All other duties as assigned by Director
