Girls Adolescent Center Program Guide
Job Summary:
The Program Guide Ministry Staff will oversee the daily activities with the program students. When on duty, the Program Guide Ministry Staff will carry out their responsibilities to promote smooth functioning of the residential program.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Oversees the home and daily operations within the facility.
- Assists the Program Director, Dean, and Lead Program Guide in compliance with all policies and procedures.
- Covers shifts when other direct care staff are absent.
- Administers and oversees disciplinary action and procedures.
- Communicates and acts as a liaison between parents and the program.
- Maintains weekly Mentor meetings and parent communication for all assigned students.
- Maintains and documents student’s progress, meetings, and communication for parents.
- Reports facility maintenance needs to the Program Director.
- Coordinates student passes and enters plans into the pass document.
- Maintains student information on SOBER PEER.
- Administers medication to students.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Abilities:
- Excellent organizational skills and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- In full agreement with the Teen Challenge Mission Statement and Code of Conduct.
- Must be a person of stable, sound judgement and possess qualities such as patience needed to work with residents from various family backgrounds.
Education & Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- 2+ years of related experience required.
- TC Graduates must have been out of Teen Challenge for at least 12 months.

Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and standing during church services.
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at a time.
