MIRA WOMEN’S HOME “May Internal Rest Abound”
Position Available: Women’s Home Support Staff
This is a unique opportunity to join a team dedicated to bringing hope to the City of Baltimore and participate in launching the
very first Women’s Teen Challenge Home in Maryland. The home is beautifully remodeled, small, intimate, and family-oriented,
accommodating up to 8 adult women.
Baltimore ranks among the top five cities in the nation for addiction and associated crime. Despite these challenges, the beauty
and potential of Baltimore are unparalleled. Our city is ready for transformation, and the need for support is immense.
We are thrilled to seek out a mature Spirit-Lead leader to assist in the launch of this home, which is brimming with innovative
ideas and opportunities. We are introducing a hybrid program that combines a Re-Entry Type Structure with Long-Term
Program Discipleship. Initially, we will enroll two ladies, with plans to expand to a full long-term program within the next 4-6
months.
We are excited to “Get Love Right” as we bring the hope of Jesus to a new frontier for the struggling women of Baltimore City.
As it is written, “Let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth” (1 John 3:18).
Position Responsibility:
To disciple the Teen Challenge Women student body through group classes and individual mentorship, providing
security and stability as the primary supervisor of the students’ conduct, requirements, and scheduling.
Spiritual Leadership:
• Be a person of maturity, demonstrating servant leadership.
• Be a positive role model “in speech, in love, in faith and in purity.” 2
• Exhibits the Fruit of the Spirit in daily living.
• Maintain a life above reproach
Key Tasks:
• Maintain a mentoring load of Teen Challenge students
• Obtain PSNL certification
• Obtain Principles of Biblical Counseling certification
• Take part in teaching rotation (GSNL, PSNL, others)
• Build and Facilitate creative PSNL learning contracts
• Track and record students’ academic progress
• Track and record students’ general progress
• Provide a safe and holy atmosphere by intentional supervision
• Participate in other requirements as instructed by the Executive Director
Compensation:
• Salaried – Bi-Monthly

• 1 Hour from Washington DC, 1.5 Hours from Philadelphia, 3.5 hours from New York
